Taiwan Bishop Lennon Yuan-Rung Chang calls for successor
[Diocese of Taiwan] The Rt. Rev. Lennon Yuan-Rung Chang, bishop of the Diocese of Taiwan, has called for the election of his successor. Chang was elected the sixth bishop of Taiwan in August 2019. He was consecrated and installed in February 2020.
The diocese’s standing committee has formed a nomination committee in preparation for the electing convention. The election of the seventh bishop is scheduled for May 2026, with the consecration to follow in November.
The bishop announced his plan to retire during the diocese’s annual convention in May.
