[World Council of Churches] The World Council of Churches has joined the Future of Life Institute and 11 other organizations in a joint submission to the United Nations’ new Global Dialogue on AI Governance, which will take place July 6-7 in Geneva, Switzerland.
The gathering was established as a space where U.N. member states and stakeholders can discuss challenges and opportunities with artificial intelligence. The goal is to ensure that AI’s governance reflects the priorities of all countries and benefits everyone.
The submission that was cosigned by the World Council of Churches shares perspectives and recommendations aimed to support a shared international framework for AI governance.
